Iconic Post It® and Scotch® brands to collaborate with UAE’s education institutions

Dedicated school presence , teachers training, student competitions to be the key highlights in 2013
With an objective to bring innovation to education & share it with teachers, students and parents, the consumer business division of 3M, a recognized leader in research and development and parent unit for the hugely popular Post It® and Scotch® range of innovative stationery solutions has announced an ongoing school engagement program in the UAE.
As a first step towards ensuring direct engagement with schools, 3M will inaugurate the first dedicated store for Post It® and Scotch® products at Emirates International School in Meadows, Dubai. Besides introducing the complete range of Post It® and Scotch® stationery solutions at one easily accessible location, the outlet will also become a hub for initiating interactive activities for students and teachers. The first outlet will be inaugurated at the end of May 2013 and as an added benefit, students will be entitled to buy Post It® and Scotch® stationery at subsidized costs.
As part of its direct collaboration with schools in the UAE, Post It® and Scotch® will also organize unique training programs for teachers that will be aimed at educating them on incorporating innovative teaching tools that will enrich the overall learning experience for students while also complementing their creative instincts.

3M’s engagement with schools will also provide students of various age groups an opportunity to participate in inter school competitions that will encourage them to present innovative art and craft projects.
