3M Scotch-Weld 7271 : A New Unique Faster and Greener Structural Adhesive for Composite Applications

3M has been listening to end-user requirements in the Marine, Transportation and Construction markets for a more environmental-friendly, greener adhesive. An adhesive that operators can use extensively the whole day through. In addition to its low odour and low VOC features, 3M Scotch-Weld 7271 structural adhesive offers enhanced productivity. It is a fast setting and fast curing adhesive with a controlled viscosity enabling both horizontal and vertical applications.

Easy to use with the 3M Scotch-Weld EPX system. The adhesive is dispensed from a cartridge by a manual or pneumatic applicator. The nozzle attached to the cartridge mixes both components of adhesive in the correct mix ratio without any manual handling. Less waste and much cleaner than mixing adhesives manually.
